Impact100 Awards $100,000 to GPS Education Partners
On June 7, 2017, Impact100 of Greater Milwaukee marked their Annual Awards Celebration by hearing presentations, voting on the finalists and announcing grant recipients. GPS Education Partners is a proud recipient of a $100,000 award.
GPS Education Partners applied for the Impact100 grant to bolster credentialed work-based learning projects. This provides GPS seniors the opportunity for a third year of on-the-job training and advanced education.
During this time, seniors will learn additional skills for placement in higher technical roles offered by local manufacturers. It's a chance for students to earn an accelerated associate’s degree and industry credentials while still in high school.
GPS Education Partners would like to thank the women at Impact100 for supporting us as we:
- Partner -- We bring business and education together
- Learn & Work -- We help kids graduate with the skills and education they need to launch their careers
- Transform Lives -- We show students who don't have a clear path they can have a bright future
